to trick or to treat......

Halloween 09 baby Aaliyah looking all kinds of princessy, workin that wand and bucket
my attempt at rockin a matching headband, not pulling it off so much, way cuter on baby girl-but yes i did rock it to the zoo!

there's the cheese..... nothin makes a princess outfit look more legit than having a track suit on underneath--that's idaho for ya, but atleast we didn't have to pull out the coat!

haha, more cheese.....

and finally we are at the zoo--"boo at the zoo" that is, this is her "what the heck is going on" pose. Most of the costumes, (and animals for that matter), were creepy to her-she did appreciate the monkeys though and I appreciated when some random dude totally tripped her and she face planted on the side walk screaming bloody murder. My plan was to hit up a small stretch of neighborhood on the way home, but she passed out. And I did some math. Pretty mello nite, well until-----my bro's and their wives and myself met up----it was interesting!! I will just leave it at that!
PS, this time change is killing me--baby girl goes to bed waaay too early now, so she wakes up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early, all the while I'm trying to keep myself awake so I can get my weekly dose of "the hills" on. This blog session has been sufficiently timely--3 min til show time!! I will prob hate myself in the morning, haha. But I gotta know what goes down with kristin and justin bobby.......

I alway feel like i'm a total midge (even have an old roommate who nicknamed me midge, and has me on her blog buddy list as midge--i love it tho) but seriously, this pic showcases how midgy we all are!! I totally fit in here!! we are all ity bity

even grandpa is ity bity--i love it!
I absolutely loved, loved, loved going out there and getting to know this side again, such a fun and welcoming crowd, beautiful part of the country, even drove past the old house that we lived in when i was little (in missouri)---- excited to finally have grammy here to be a part of our lives

Thank You Virtual Math Lab

First of all, let me start by saying that I have decided on Nursing. I will start classes full time in January, I met with a counselor and it's gonna take me a little longer than I originally had thought. I thought that since I already had a degree that I could waltz in take a couple pre-reqs and dive into the program--not so much. Since all of my prior classes were of the art nature I will have to spend a few years!! Yes, years completing the science/health pre-reqs which include biology, chemistry, physics-- uggh, and since I'm transfering to another school they have diff general ed requirements. Bumber to know that my ethics and values and that unfortunate PE class I had to take at UVSC arent even required for generals at ISU. Oh well I guess it never hurt anyone to have to run the mile and half 2 times in one semester.

Unfortunately for me, because it has been a few years since I took Math, I will have to re test into the appropriate level. Sucks that they wont just let me go right into my next actual level. So I have been spending many a night on the computer in what is called the Virtual Math Lab, trying to re learn all the somewhat pointless junk that math is about. One thing I know for sure---math is hard!!! And trying to teach yourself--even harder!! But as long as I don't have to repeat any classes it will be worth it.

potty for baby girl

Aaliyah loves to go potty, or atleast pretend to go potty, she thinks she's such a big girl--- especially when she uses the tp. so cute!!
